Rubies
Mrs Clarkson is the Rubies class teacher. Mrs Marshall also works with the Rubies and specialises in supporting early reading.
We believe that children work best when they are not under pressure and so all we ask is that they try their best in all they do!
Homework
In Rubies, we are expected to always:
- Read at least 3 times a week (we are working towards our whole school reading target!)
- Learn our spellings
- Try our best.
- Practise our number skills sheets.
PE
Please can your child bring their P.E. kit on a Monday and take it home with them on a Friday. Children will be asked to change for P.E. independently.
Tips and Tricks
Phonics
We follow the Twinkl phonics scheme. There are useful parental information sheets for each sound the children learn. There is also a wealth of interactive games and resources that are sent home for your child to enjoy via Seesaw.
