GDPR
As of the 25th May 2018, the new GDPR regulations came into force, replacing the old Data Protection Act, with the addition of six new principles which must be followed. These say that the information held must be :-
Fair & Lawful
For specific, explicit and legitimate purpose
Adequate, relevant and limited
Accurate and up to date
Kept no longer than necessary
Ensure appropriate security
